"Desde que empecé a trabajar en cerámica me he obsesionado con el mismo ser: mitad humano, mitad animal, de cierta manera un lobo burlón y provocador o un chacal exaltado, una figura parecida a la de un coyote que baila, salta y se aparece de la nada. Es incontrolable e impredecible pero al mismo tiempo es tan familiar que forma parte de mí misma. Entonces, podría traerlo a la vida de cualquier forma que yo desee, invirtiendo este ser como mi álter ego con más frecuencia hembra que macho".

"Since I began working with ceramics I have been haunted by the same half-human and half-animal being, a sort of mischievous, jeering wolf or an exalted jackal, coyote-like figure that dances, jumps and appears out of nowhere. It is uncontrollable and unpredictable but at the same time so familiar that it is a part of myself. So, I could bring him to life in any way I desire, investing this being as my alter ego more often female than male".
